I will stamp all over 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
